The Corinda Collection

This room has magnificent views over Hobart’s river and busy waterfront, with cruise ships arriving almost daily. The antique furniture is largely Tasmanian. The wardrobe is of native cedar, dating from around 1860. The chest of drawers with barley twist columns is also of Tasmanian cedar and dates from the same period, as does the cedar chaise longue in the bay window. The room had a king size bed or can be twin-share if desired and an extra single bed can be provided at an extra cost.

With views of the garden, this room features a queen-size bed with quality linen. Antique furniture is also included.

This spacious cottage features a spa bath, a private patio and veranda, with full kitchen and laundry facilities.

This room has a king-sized bed with a deep spring mattress, quilted latex overlay and quality cotton sheets and pillowcases. The room has antique furniture, most of local origin and a Gothic wardrobe, dating back to 1870. 1 of the bedside tables is mahogany, while the other, painted with native fern, is made from Tasmania's own unique timber.

Among the many interesting pictures in the room is a drawing by Viv Web, made in about 1920, of the last lioness to be held captive in Hobart Zoo.
